Introduction
Dymenzions is a software solution for managing functional safety in production plants. Dymenzions manages the entire functional safety lifecycle in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
The functional safety life cycle includes:
- Hazard and Operational Assessment (HAZOP)
- Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA)
- Safety Requirements Specification (SRS)
- SIL/SIF design
Features
In the design phase of functional safety, Dymenzions supports the documentation, specification, calculation and validation of safety functions and provisions. In the operational phase of the functional safety lifecycle, Dymenzions takes care of all administration regarding test methods, test frequencies and test results and automatically generates schedules and a planning.
In addition, Dymenzions offers the possibility to manage all data related to explosion-proof equipment (ATEX) and to schedule all necessary ATEX inspections.
A central dashboard displays all parameters of your production installation that are relevant to functional safety. This dashboard provides management and auditors with insight into the current status of the current safety measures based on the most recent information.

Description
General
Based on design specifications, Dymenzions checks the completeness and functionality of safety functions and reports non-conformities. Dymenzions can calculate test intervals and automatically schedule periodic inspections. An interactive planning board allows the user to view and print test instructions and enter test results. The test results are tracked by Dymenzions and deviations are reported and presented in the dashboard insight center. Through the action list, all open issues are visible and can be addressed immediately. For more detailed information, an extensive reporting module is included in Dymenzions.

Application
Dymenzions is a web application and can be accessed locally or remotely from any browser. Each user has their own user account that is linked to a user profile with certain permissions and rights. All user actions and changes to documentation and data are recorded in an audit trail. The application and database run on a server in accordance with ISO 20000 and ISO 27001.
