SRS is a specification of the safety function. Dymenzions guides you in an interactive way to collect all necessary information for making an SRS and supports you in making design choices. Dymenzions efficiently incorporates data from the HAZOP and LOPA, such as:
- Required risk reduction and SIL level and required response time
- Function and location of the sensors and end elements

Dymenzions Calculations & Design makes it easy to design SIF loops. The system has a database of failure rates, SIL certificates and safety manuals for the most common components in process technology. You select the equipment and the system calculates parameters such as PFD average per component, PFD average for the entire loop, test frequencies, MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), Spurious Trip Rate, etc. Dymenzions also checks whether all requirements specified by you in the SRS are met and whether the desired SIL level is achieved with the chosen instrumentation.
